The Addie Model is an instructional system design which is intended to be used to create very specific training or educational lessons. The Addie Model is a basic instructional system design model and there have been many other models that have built off of Addie. Although there are variations, the five stages that make up Addie are still at the core. The five stages of the Addie Model are: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.
